, of one of the better players in the boys’ basketball program, has seen in Jett Montgomery, is coming off an impressive third year of high school hoops. Her shooting from distance was her skill that stood out the most, with her punishing opposing defenses routinely by making multiple shots from long range.
Montgomery can shoot from everywhere on the floor and is most dangerous as a shooter off the catch. On the wings, she is more than comfortable making shots well off the perimeter. Montgomery also notably, about midway through the 2025-2026 school season, was shooting 41% from the 3-point line.

A sharpshooter who can scorch the bottom of the net. She’s a solid defender, but what sets her apart from others is her ability to score the basketball. She’s deadly if she has any space, which she must not be left alone. She can shoot a high percentage from 3, but won’t hesitate to put the ball on the floor. Keep tabs on this young lady. She’s someone who can get on a hot streak and help her club make a run.

This young lady is shooting the rock from multiple spots at a high clip. She is naturally a 3-point specialist; given any room, she is going to let it fly. She’s been clutch, hitting shots when her squad has needed it the most. She is a talented kid from the Indy program who has been a thorn in the side of Wilco teams. Look for her to capture the eyes of collegiate coaches as she continues to grow her game and become a solid ballplayer who can impact the game in more ways than one.

This kid has been heating up and has the Lady Eagles flying high. MJ has been on a burner, lighting it up from deep. Once she is locked in and into a groove, she is hard to slow down. She is playing with a lot of confidence. From the arc, she’s been money, and her team knows when to feed the hot hand. A great kid who is not only one of the leaders of this club, but will help this hot program down the stretch compete for the district crown.

There are great shooters all across high school basketball, but some have one trait that holds them back. The trait being referred to is hesitation. When it comes to Montgomery, she does not possess that whatsoever. If she is given the space, she lets it fly and is extremely effective doing so. Montgomery’s outside jumper was on full display in a game against Franklin High School, where she had six three-pointers. The main way Montgomery scores from beyond the perimeter is off catch-and-shoot actions.

She’s a kid you can’t let heat up. Once she sees that ball go through the net a time or two, shoot, it’s on then. This kid has a nice stroke from deep, and when she gets her feet set, the ball is going in. She had an amazing summer and will look to carry that same intensity into the school ball year. Solid kid who is going to finish at the top of her district in multiple categories.

After a year in the Coach Jackson system, this young lady is ready to lead the charge. MJ is a sharpshooter who can create, come off screens, and ultimately, her ball finds the bottom of the net. She competes at everything, places with great stamina and pace, which really makes it hard for people to handle. She has had a great travel ball season and summer thus far. Look for her to help this ball club not only take over Wilco but also contend in the tournament down the stretch. A solid kid is primed for a breakout year.

Talented ballplayer who can fill it up. She shoots the rock with confidence and isn’t afraid to let it fly, given even a small window. You can tell she has been working on her game as she not only can knock down the spot-up jumper, but has added an extra gear, where she attacks the rim. She, too, was solid defensively as she was able to get a couple of steals for her team that led to transition breaks. A solid ball player who will be one of the top players in her district this upcoming season.

Dual sport athlete who is a confident spot up shooter. Her game has continued to evolve but leave her wide open, she is going to knock it down from the arc. MJ can score it on the interior as well as from the perimeter. She contributes on the defensive end, slowing down the opposition, getting rebounds, and getting deflections/steals.
