was incredible to watch as Landrum sprung off the floor to snatch rebounds with two hands in traffic routinely, gobbling up 21 rebounds to pair with 17 points, 4 assists, 5 steals and 2 blocks as North Paulding held off Grayson for the state title. Morgan’s elite athleticism couldn’t be matched. Possibly even more impressive however was her touch at the line, shooting 11-11 from the foul line. Landrum showcased quick decision making with the ball, able to shovel off passes in tight spaces. Her dynamic play has her high on college wish lists after decommitting from Boston College earlier in her career.

Morgan showed just how good a player she is and how important she was to this team’s success finishing her junior season in the state championship game with 17 points, 21 rebounds, and five steals in the win. North Paulding finished the season 30-2 and the undisputed top team in AAAAAA. That would not have been possible without Landrum’s size, skill, and athleticism. Landrum is long and can really run and jump for her size which allows her to impact both ends of the floor. She has added more muscle to her frame the last couple of years and is utilizing that strength in the post finishing around the rim. She is a very good shot blocker, both on the ball and coming from weak side help positions. I think her best basketball is still in front of her. Like Rudolph, Landrum will have a big decision to make as the school she was committed to, Boston College, has fired the coach she chose to play for. Will she stay committed to the Eagles or will she seek other opportunities like Coco. The good news for Landrum is she has another year of basketball, travel and high school, to figure all that out. If she does land on the open market, expect her to be in very high demand with Power Four programs.

Landrum is another very good player in the ’26 class in Georgia who may be looking for a new home in college as Boston College, the school she initially chose, recently fired their coach. Like Rudolph, if Landrum were to re-open her recruitment she would be a highly sought after player on the open market. Her talents were on full display as she finished as the game MVP of the AAAAAA state championship game. Morgan scored 17 points in the game, and was perfect from the free throw line converting all 11 shots from the stripe. Shooting perfect from the line and looking comfortable doing it was impressive enough, but Landrum also finished the game with 21 rebounds totally controlling the glass on both ends in the game for North Paulding.

A Boston College-commit, Landrum is a high-motor forward who fills the stat sheet with deflections, rebounds, and smart passes. Her vision continues to sharpen as she grows into a hybrid playmaker role. She attacks in transition and delivers on-time dimes while guarding multiple spots with energy and instinct.

Morgan Landrum is the ultimate glue kid. She was a huge piece of North Paulding’s run the state championship game. She’s incredibly unique in that her handles look and feel like a guard, but her size is like a post. Her outside game has room for improvement, but she’s already a 2nd Team All-Region Tournament member as a freshman. Landrum has the potential to be a STAR!

Landrum is one for the future. She is all arms and legs, extremely long. When she came in off the bench, she knew how to impact games. Morgan used her wingspan to alter shots and collect rebounds. She has a great player to study in front of her in
