Expert Analysis
Johnny Vick | Prep Girls Hoops Scout
A nice combo guard that can play the point guard or shooting guard as if they were her main positions on the floor. Let’s handle the point guard position first. Great vision in the middle of the floor with her eyes up, looking to make that 25-30 foot pass in transition for an easy score. The vision is just as good in the half-court offense, reading the defense and seeing the cutter for the assist.
A shooter that can score off the dribble or on the catch. Shot looks smooth and in rhythm, never rushed. Excellent hustler that did not mind mixing it up to win that 50/50 ball for her team.
A player profile to check out as you will see the investment Emma makes in her game.

Listed as a combo guard but the vision and passing skills that Morgan possess are those of a point guard. When she has the ball in open floor you can tell she is setting the defender up. The type of passer that sees it happening before it does is the only way to explain the no look passes she makes. The ability to knock down the 3-pointer on the catch or off the dribble demands respect. Give this young lady a bad close out the helper defender may be in trouble because she is going to score or drop off the pass.
Fun player to watch on both ends of the court as she has quick hands getting deflections or steals for layups. Enjoyed the opportunity to visit with her this summer and amazing young lady. A player to follow for sure

will have a breakout season with the Lady Grizzlies. She mostly played on Northside’s freshman squad last year, but she is now expected to fill a void after the team graduated several seniors.
Sanger balled out with the Banshees this summer. She impressed on the defensive end, anticipating where passes were going and jumping in front of them, taking the ball to the other end.
On offense, Sanger showed how good she was moving without the basketball. She can get herself open easily and can cut from everywhere on the floor. The guard continued to prove just how solid a shooter she is, particularly off the catch. Whether her jumper is from three or mid-range, there is a good chance that she is knocking it down.

spent a lot of time with Northside’s junior varsity team during the regular season. However, once the postseason rolled around, she played in some important games.
Sanger first appeared in Northside’s opening round playoff game against Jonesboro where she knocked down a 3-pointer off the catch in the 3rd quarter. She showcased a great shooting touch and had zero hesitation on the jumper. Sanger also appeared in the championship game against Fayetteville.
During her time with the junior varsity squad, Sanger displayed excellent defensive ability. She plays tough on-ball defense and she is capable of forcing turnovers multiple times a game.
Fort Smith Northside is graduating several seniors, so

Probably the hardest working player on the list, Morgan is a dedicated student athlete. 6AM workouts before scheduled morning practice are incredibly difficult to maintain. From weights to shooting, this work ethic is what separates players that are good and those that seek greatness. “Quality over quantity” and Morgan lives like that old saying. Playing club ball for the Banshees , the freshman prodigy showed poise and confidence on the court. She has an IQ on the next level and her passing ability compliments that statement. Morgan makes 300 3s a day and then does all 300 off the dribble! Crazy work ethic that will be exciting to see on the floor for Northside. She had an unofficial visit to K State earlier in the month and will have plenty of more Colleges lining up.
