Shined as a sixth man last season. Has a nose for the ball, touching all aspects of the box score. Really good scorer has polished up her three-point shot and overall shot selection. Slashes to the rim with body control. Rebounds well for her size and is comfortable battling in the paint. Active sideline-to-sideline defender in the full court.

The super sixth man came off the bench and sparked the Wolverines by hitting four threes in the first half including three in the second quarter which built a 31-17 halftime lead. Morghan has taken a huge jump, one of the most improved players in the state. Her outside shooting accuracy has gotten better along with her decision making. Slater is a shifty finisher downhill, able to evade charges with her body control. Listed at 5-foot-7, but likely a little taller, Slater plays bigger than whatever her true height is, impacting games as a rebounder. Defensively, Morghan has good instincts to blow up plays. In the fourth quarter with the game on the line, Slater went 6-6 from the foul line. Morghan tallied a game-high 22 points, 6 rebounds, 1 assist and 4 steals in the 59-49 win over Sequoyah. Morghan netted the go-ahead free throws to lift Woodstock past Paulding County 29-28. Slater has emerged as a go-to guy for the Wolverines. The 5-foot-7 guard has more of a swingman role at times, but her activity level allows her to play bigger than her size and impact games. Slater had 10 points, 5 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal and 3 blocks in the win. Morghan is trending up.

Looked more comfortable as a decision maker with the ball. Three-point shot has improved. Still has quickness attacking the rim and a nose for the ball as an undersized rebounder.

who strapped on her hard hat and went to work serving as the Wolverine’s biggest player. She’s a good athlete that will create mismatches in small-ball lineups. Morghan made a living out of screen and rolls, diving to the rim where she drew fouls.

Morgan grabs the eye as soon as she steps on the court. She has good size at the guard position. At points in the game I watch her she saw double teams and trap attempts that were effective at getting the ball out of her hands but the passes she made to open teammates lead to very easy scoring opportunities. Even under pressure she has great awareness and vision.. She was able to use her dribble to extend the play and find open teammates.

Slater is a high energy guard that knows how to attack the basket strong. Her length allows her to get out in the passing lanes and create some easy scoring opportunities a the rim. A player that is always getting downhill on every possession. When the drive was taken away she found a way to score in the mid range. A player that sees the floor well and knows how to get her teammates involved. Has the ability to score off the drive or from outside. Looking for her to play a major role for her team this upcoming season.
