Shined as a sixth man last season. Has a nose for the ball, touching all aspects of the box score. Really good scorer has polished up her three-point shot and overall shot selection. Slashes to the rim with body control. Rebounds well for her size and is comfortable battling in the paint. Active sideline-to-sideline defender in the full court.

Up from 35: Super sixth man pulled in a Chicago State offer. Averaged 12.8 points, 4.5 rebounds, 1 assist and 2.3 steals. Decision making and outside shooting accuracy improved. Became a stat sheet stuffer with her activity. Impactful defender in the press.

The super sixth man came off the bench and sparked the Wolverines by hitting four threes in the first half including three in the second quarter which built a 31-17 halftime lead. Morghan has taken a huge jump, one of the most improved players in the state. Her outside shooting accuracy has gotten better along with her decision making. Slater is a shifty finisher downhill, able to evade charges with her body control. Listed at 5-foot-7, but likely a little taller, Slater plays bigger than whatever her true height is, impacting games as a rebounder. Defensively, Morghan has good instincts to blow up plays. In the fourth quarter with the game on the line, Slater went 6-6 from the foul line. Morghan tallied a game-high 22 points, 6 rebounds, 1 assist and 4 steals in the 59-49 win over Sequoyah. Chicago State has offered.

Up from No. 65: Slater owned the summer, earning a Chicago State offer as her stock soared. Morghan’s outside shot and decision making improved greatly. Slater now can sink the three while still mixing in drives to the hoop. She netted eight threes over six games at the Sandy’s Spiel Fall League while averaging 14.5 points, 5.2 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 steal and 1.7 blocks.

Morghan netted the go-ahead free throws to lift Woodstock past Paulding County 29-28. Slater has emerged as a go-to guy for the Wolverines. The 5-foot-7 guard has more of a swingman role at times, but her activity level allows her to play bigger than her size and impact games. Slater had 10 points, 5 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal and 3 blocks in the win. Morghan is trending up.

Looked more comfortable as a decision maker with the ball. Three-point shot has improved. Still has quickness attacking the rim and a nose for the ball as an undersized rebounder.
