The future Dominican Knight is a physical post player who can affect the game in multiple facets. Burns is a 5-11 forward who can space the floor or overpower defenders around the rim. She also showed things that made me think she could operate as a wing if she improves, but she will be a versatile frontcourt player for the Knights. She will be one of the more skilled fives that we’ve seen coming into high school; I liked her game.

If you watched Burns attending the Freshman showcase you may have witnessed someone single handed put herself on the radar. Burns looked like the best ball handler on her team getting through full court defense, another thing that stood out is her knack to knock down shots, she was involved in what was the game of the day an overtime thriller. I cant wait to see what role she plays for a Dominican team that the entire state is speaking highly of.
