Prep Girls Hoops Iowa’s No. 28 player overall and ninth-ranked point guard in the state’s 2026 Class eclipsed the 2,000-career point mark in a late January game at Iowa City High that we attended. She led all scorers in the contest, finishing in the mid 20s during a season that’s seen her average more than 26.0 PPG. Ollivierre is a three-level scorer that can get her shot from a number of angles and release points. Sharp footwork and dexterity with both hands make her a threat to score until she passes the ball. In doing that, she facilitates offense efficiently and moves well without the ball. Ollivierre is fast and stronger than her slighter frame would suggest. Those traits help her defend on the ball and rebound. The West Point pledge is set up for success at the next level.

We have seen some major numbers out of Nakia Ollivierre over the past 3 years and that hasn’t changed throughout this season either. Ollivierre, the West Point commit, has also been a high shot taker and a high shot maker. She knows how to put the ball in the hoop and she is doing that once again as we speak. Ollivierre is going to finish off her high school career averaging some memorable numbers. If she continues to Will her team to success, who knows how far they can take things following their regular season campaign.

Waterloo West is going to look towards their main producer on both sides of the floor in PG – Nakia Ollivierre this Winter as they get into their season. There is no doubt that Ollivierre is going to look to score most of this teams buckets this Winter just like years past. She has always been a big time producer on that side of the ball so I expect nothing less for her Senior season. As a Junior, Ollivierre went to the free throw line for 176 attempts. She finished off making 151 of those, giving her a noteworthy percentage at 85.9%. That number is impressive considering how many free throws she shot in general but she should be around the same number over the next six months as well. She just needs to stay hungry and that should be simple.

If Nakia Ollivierre wasn’t committed to Army already, she would be piling up the offers because of her consistent and fierce play-style this Spring season. Ollivierre has elite athletic ability, she can work on and off the ball, she does the little things like rebounds well on both sides of the court, and she creates a lot of pressure with her ability to stay with her opponent in the open floor. In all of the games she has played in this Spring, she has been a primary leader for her crew. If she continues to work like this, she is someone that we will continue to hear about until she ends up graduating in a year from now.

One of the highest scoring performances of the day that we saw out of a program from Iowa was Nakia Ollivierre of Lady Pure Prep 17U. Ollivierre helped her team to victory while scoring a game high 27 points. In this showing, Ollivierre was giving the opponent all sorts of buckets. It didn’t matter how well the defender stuck onto her, Ollivierre was in one of those modes where no one was going to slow her down. We have recently been talking about this one as we move into AAU season more and more because of how much she can produce at times. To kick things off this weekend it was just more of that. With three more games on the weekend left to go, it’ll be interesting to see how Nakia plays following this offensive outburst. If she stays her aggressive self, she should continue to like the results she is producing. Individually and from a team standpoint as well.

Nakia Ollivierre has been a college committed player for a few years now to West Point Academy. Ollivierre is an uber-athletic individual, that is also fairly skilled as well. She has proven over the years that she can handle, shoot, defend, and rebound. Not only has that been proven over the years but it’s also happening in front of our very own eyes this AAU season. I think the biggest question about Ollivierre is how well will she make the others around her better at the college level. If she can do that and continue to show her own skill set in important moments, then she is in for quite the career.

Nakia Ollivierre of Waterloo West demonstrated last night what it means to carry a team to victory. This is a “team” sport but sometimes players just have to take over and that’s what happened against Linn-Mar on Wednesday evening. In a ball game that ended 50-48, every point and possession was vital when it came down to it in the end. Ollivierre accounted for most of her team’s production when it was time to make a big play or hit a big shot. Throughout the evening, Ollivierre knocked down several shots from behind the arc to help push her program to the next round of the Post Season. She also got to the bucket at Will, while converting consistently. This type of outing isn’t anything new. This is someone that is a top leader in PPG on the season, no matter of age or Class level so this is pretty on point for what we are used too but it still doesn’t make it less impressive.

I have said it once and I’ll say it again. Nakia Ollivierre of Waterloo West would be a HOT commodity in the recruiting game right now if she did not commit to West Point early on in her high school career. Ollivierre is a special talent on the floor. With some able prospects around her, that are seasoned at their positions, who knows what she would be able to do in the grand scheme of things. With that being said, Ollivierre reached the career goal of 1500 points scored at the varsity level over the past 2.5 years. While still having a senior season left to come, this is someone that should hit the 2K mark before she ends her high school career. That is a number that most prospects don’t touch during their four year career and that just speaks of her abilities on that side of the ball.

Someone that is quietly having one of the best seasons out of the entire state is Nakia Ollivierre of Waterloo West High School. Ollivierre is putting up some pretty impressive numbers at this time and that doesn’t seem like it’s going to slow down anytime soon. She has the second leading PPG average throughout Iowa and she is getting those buckets in every way imaginable. The numbers that really sticks out about all of this is that she has 90 free throw attempts on the season, putting her average at 6.5 per game, in which she is converting 5.8 of those attempts. These numbers blow everyone else out of the water except 2026 –

Nakia Ollivierre of Waterloo West is going to see the floor a majority of her college career by my assessment. If she didn’t end up committing to West Point early on, who knows who would have picked her up or offered her. So far she has proven over her 2.5 years at the Varsity level that she is handful on any court she places on, no matter if it’s during high school ball or on the road during AAU season. To kick off 2025, Ollivierre recorded a meaningful game on Friday night in her team’s victory. In this contest, she registered 33 Points, doing it all from the PG spot. There aren’t many in the state built like this one. Metaphorically and physically. Her athletic ability is up there with some of the best in the state at her height at 5’10. As long as she continues to stay hungry, she should continue to dominate moving forward.
