Smith has established herself as one of the most efficient interior scorers in the state, finishing the season shooting 59% from the field. Her ability to convert around the basket, establish position early, and finish through contact makes her a dominant paint. Smith also rebounds well and holds her ground defensively, and is a force on both ends of the floor. Smith plays physical, she is active and is an elite rim protector. The senior forward averages close to 4 blocks per game and changes a lot more shots in the paint. She proved she was “all of that” in the paint and was an eyelash from reaching the finals. Over the summer she showed noticeable growth in physicality and in paint dominance. She also was more decisive and confident on the offensive end. This year she averaged 16.2 points per game. Her combination of efficiency, toughness, and interior presence makes her a player capable of controlling the paint and leading her team to a few upset victories in the State Championships

Nalah stood out immediately with the best size and length at the event, controlling the paint on both ends. She consistently blocked or deterred shots around the rim and owned the glass with her physical presence. Nalah finished with a dominant double-double of 18 points and 11 rebounds by impacting the game in multiple ways. She capped her performance with a huge block late that sealed the win for her team and highlighted her value as a serious post presence inside on both ends.

At the FABC, she was involved in some great battles and came out ahead in the toughest of matchups. From shot blocking, to scoring in the paint, to rebounding the ball, Smith was a force. Her play in Lakeland was telling, but her dominance and increased power and explosiveness were on display. Smith was a huge summer surprise.

Nalah is a true rim protector that stands at 6’2 with a long frame which is very rare and highly sought after. Her hustle and excellent job of crashing the glass on both ends is exactly what you want in a mobile post that can run the floor. As she continues to perfect her craft of finishing at the rim and extending her game, she will continue to rise in these rankings. What a difference the travel season has made to her game. Smith was already a very good shot blocker but now she brings the blocked shots with more physicality. Her elite shot-blocking instincts were on full display, altering and denying shot attempts around. Smith also controlled the rebound department with toughness and showed a nose for the ball. Offensively, Smith worked hard for second-chance opportunities and extended offensive possessions. She also battled for the boards on the defensive end and dished out to start the fast-break. A few times Smith showed she could grab it and go. This skill sets her apart from many power forwards and centers. Smith’s grit, defensive presence, and her motor on the floor make her one of the most dependable interior players in the 2026 class. College coaches were impressed as there was a lot of note taking during Smith’s games. They came, they saw, and Smith surged.
