Although Neveah transferred to IMG Academy in Florida last year, she continues to maintain her DMV ties by competing with Team Takeover on the EYBL circuit. The long, athletic wing put together another productive weekend in Las Vegas, averaging 11.2 points while shooting an efficient 54.1 percent from the field. Neveah scored in a variety of ways, finishing through contact, running the floor in transition, and making timely cuts that led to easy baskets. She opened the weekend with an impressive 16-point, 8-rebound performance against Pro Skills before following it with outings of 10 and 15 points, consistently providing Team Takeover with a reliable offensive option. Beyond the scoring, her length and athleticism were evident on the defensive end, where she altered shots, blocked six attempts over five games, and used her versatility to defend multiple positions. Neveah continues to develop into the type of two-way wing every college program covets, using her size, efficiency, and defensive activity to impact the game in a variety of ways.

Nevaeh transferred from Maryland to IMG alongside her older sister and brings great size and versatility to the court. She has a long frame and finishes confidently with either hand around the rim. Her quick elevation and smooth touch make her a consistent scorer in traffic. Nevaeh also shows poise in the midrange with a fluid jumper and polished pull-up game.

Nevaeh had a solid summer and you can see that her confidence has grown tremendously. She will join her sister on the trek south to Florida. Huge loss for the Mustangs as she was on the leading candidate for Junior of the Year in Maryland. IMG Academy gains a long athletic wing that can shoot the three and defend five positions.

Nevaeh moved up and down the court fluidly. She looked really confident on the court and was able to execute drill moves flawlessly and at the right time. She had a crossover pullup jumper from the free throw line where she was able to create space and get into her shot which was a thing of beauty. She looks poised for a tremendous season if she keeps this momentum up.

Roberson was active and aggressive, finishing well in transition, crashing the offensive boards, and turning hustle into points. She also hit shots and brought strong defensive energy. A gritty, high-motor player who produces across the board.

Nevaeh showed her three point range, she knocked down two of them, this was the first time we’ve seen that side of her game. If you combine that with her length, athleticism and ability to get to the basket and finish the end result is a player capable of playing any position on the floor. She is primed for a breakout summer and junior season and I’m getting my popcorn ready.

Nevaeh got it going early scoring her four points in the first quarter. She brought a lot of energy and intensity on the defensive end. She is setting up a solid foundation to keep the Mustang legacy going after the graduation of the seniors.
