About Stevi
Expert Analysis
BJ Batson | Prep Girls Hoops Scout
In a tough overtime loss against an excellent West Virginia Thunder team, Harmon was one of the standout players from the game. Stevi hit multiple huge threes for her team throughout the course of the very closely contested game and several were feet behind the line. Harmon has a quick trigger and she was able to get her shots off before the defense could react on catch and shoot situations as well as off the bounce from long range. Harmon moves very well without the ball and with purpose. She moved up from the baseline to the wing when her teammates drove the ball filling in the space behind them and on other trips down the floor Stevi slid to corner from the wing giving her teammates another look and kept the defenders guessing when trying to find her returning from help responsibilities. Harmon has great size and strength. She is a well-rounded player whose stock will continue to rise with excellent play this Summer. She received an offer from Georgia Tech very quickly after that game and the event concluded.

Stevi enters the travel ball season as a rising name with serious momentum, and her time at IMG has clearly accelerated her development heading into the spring with Southeast All Stars. Widely regarded as one of the best shooters in the state regardless of class, her polished mechanics, deep range, and ability to get her shot off over defenders due to her size make her an immediate matchup problem. What could really boost her stock this spring, though, is the expansion of her all-around game—she’s shown she can put it on the deck with control, create space, and finish at the rim with either hand, adding another layer to her scoring versatility. In a Southeast All Stars system that should give her freedom to operate, Stevi has a strong chance to separate herself as not just an elite shooter, but a complete offensive threat.

Stevi is one of the best shooters in the state, regardless of class, with high-level form and consistent mechanics that translate well beyond the arc. Her size and frame at the position add to her effectiveness by allowing her to get clean looks and shoot comfortably over defenders. Deep range is a real weapon, but her game goes beyond shooting as she can put the ball on the floor with clean handles and finish at the rim with either hand. A breakout performance against St. James at the Hoophall Classic helped solidify her impact, and her international playing experience shows in her confidence, feel, and overall maturity on the floor.
