Noelle played all 32 minutes of the Championship game and has been so valuable to this Bloomingdale team for years. She did a great job of playing within herself and making the smart play & right play for her team to get their first State Championship after heartbreak last season. Noelle averaged 11 ppg and 8.5 rpg, but her veteran presence and poise goes well beyond the stat sheet. Best of luck to her next season staying home at one of the best D2 programs in the country!

Over her high school career, the University of Tampa commit has averaged 13.8 PPG, 2.0 AST/G, and 2.1 STL/G. The Bloomingdale legend has showcased her ability to score in a variety of ways, with her shot creation being a beauty to watch. As a lefty, she has always been a key player in opposing teams’ scouting reports.

Noelle has cemented herself in the record books and will be remembered as one of Tampa’s finest.

Noelle Mengel Noelle Mengel 5'9" | PG Bloomingdale | 2025 State FL 2025 is another sharpshooter who shoots the three off of the dribble more than off of the catch. Her ability to drive, shoot the floater,  stop and pop, and step back and shoot makes her so special. Furthermore, Mengel’s ability to create space and shoot the dagger three makes her shooting that much better. She connected on 66 threes from the point position and shot it at a 35 percent rate. Mengel is a player who also shoots it better in crunch time when the game is on the line.

The University of Tampa commit has been a nightmare for opposing teams and coaches, as the lefty can light up the scoreboard quickly. Coming off a historic 30-1 season with Bloomingdale, she averaged 20.6 points per game, with a season-high 36-point performance. In 31 games, she scored in double digits in all but two, with multiple 20+ point games. On three separate occasions, she had four-game stretches where she scored 20+ points in four consecutive games.

Noelle’s high-level scoring comes from all three levels, and her elite ball-handling skills help her get those shots off. She plays low, keeps the ball on a string, and gets to her spot with ease and confidence. Noelle scored 639 points in her junior year, surpassing the 1,000-point milestone, finishing the season with 1,187 points. I foresee her hitting the 1,500-point mark, a rare feat that could make her the top scorer in school history.

She is a must-watch in her senior season, as Bloomingdale aims to win the state championship this year.

She was a standout in the State semifinals and it is highly likely that Mengel and company could find their way back there next year.
