Point guard out of Grace Christian Academy, and recent commit to the UAB basketball program, Nya Burns Nya Burns Nya Burns 5'7" | PG Grace Christian Academy | 2026 State TN should put together a stellar senior season of high school basketball.

Burns throughout her high school career has demonstrated her elite guard play. Two facets that stands out and makes her a tough guard for any opposing defender is her stop-and-go speed and high-level dribbling skills. The combination of the two keeps defenders off balance and always guessing. She pairs that with the ability to knock down jumpers from the mid-range, and has the capabilty to hit fadeways from that area of the floor. Burns is also a great shooter from the perimeter and a high-level passer.

On defense, her plus speed makes her a great on-ball defender.
