About Olivia

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I would say my gameplay style is fast and aggressive. I would also say that I am a distributor and have great court vision. I am not flashy. I’m a very strong point guard and creator.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

My mentality going into anything is very aggressive and also very cerebral. My personality is laid back but I have shown the ability to lead a team to great success.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Yes, some of my non-sports awards include student of the month in school, Track Honor Roll Champion in Greater Lansing in three different events. I also won the 70m Greater Lansing Honor Roll meet in 2025 as well as the 800m relay again in 2025.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have definitely developed and learned some skills such as how to be a good leader and team player from my coaches. I’ve learned how to handle pressure and difficult situations. I also volunteer at Haven House in East Lansing monthly .

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a college that challenges me and wants me to succeed. I want to major in business. I want to also major in Sports Management.

Olivia had an impact in basically every statistical category for her team at the Freshman Showcase. Her ability to change hands on drives to the basket, score in traffic, create turnovers on defense, and make great passes were all areas of strength. Olivia scored a strong offensive rebound put-back through a foul and dropped in a contested floater. She finished a backdoor cut with a layup and deflected a pass away from the roller after switching on defense. Olivia was an expert facilitator. She forced help defenders to commit to her dribble and dished out accurate dump-off passes for assists. Olivia’s decision-making and passing instincts stood out. Her performance has earned recognition as a Top Performer.
