Danyle Bowers | Prep Girls Hoops Scout
Olivia, a guard for 1 Nation, made a difference at MI College Tour II at Wayne State with her well-rounded impact on both ends of the floor. She was active defensively, staying engaged and using her quickness and shiftiness to stay in front of opponents and disrupt possessions. Offensively, she handled the ball with confidence, pushed tempo in transition, and did a strong job setting up her teammates with smart passing. Olivia also showed her scoring ability by knocking down shots from beyond the arc and finishing a smooth reverse layup around the rim. Her combination of playmaking, pace, and defensive activity stood out throughout the day.

Olivia shot up the 2027 rankings this off-season by consistently performing at a high level at different events. She is an explosive two-way player who creates scoring for herself and others off the dribble. Olivia has a smooth pull-up jumper from outside and the mid-range. Olivia has proven herself again and again in front of our scouts at events this summer. She consistently shines as a standout player because of her quickness, explosive steps, and effort on both ends of the court. Olivia beats defenders to score off the dribble, knocks down triples with balance off the bounce, pressures opposing ball-handlers to create steals, and sinks shots with an accurate mid-range jumper. Olivia is going to be an exciting guard to watch with a dangerous Rams team this winter.

Olivia is a dynamic, shifty guard with exceptional ball-handling skills, able to navigate through tight defenses with ease. Her quick first step and sharp dribble moves allow her to consistently get pas defenders and finish at the rim with creativity and control. Olivia stood out at the Drive training and I’m excited to see what she does in her sophomore year at Holt.

Gadson has been a key performer and critical part of Holt’s run the quarterfinals of the playoffs. She has shown the ability to not just shoot and get buckets, but to get them at critical times in big games. Gadson has been relied upon to score and she’s responded. All that being said, she can play D too and against a dynamic offense like Belleville’s, that could be even bigger.

had her way on the court today. She blew me away by how hard she worked in every single drill. Olivia had the quickest feet and smoothest defensive slides in her group and when she did stationary ball handling her handles were also elite: she made advanced look ordinary. Olivia used all kinds of dribbles with powerful, long strides to create space and then hit multiple 3’s. Her explosiveness and speed to the rim made her nearly impossible to stop man to man. On one play she drove downhill from the left wing and finished a contested layup with her right hand on a 6’0 post. Olivia stole the ball another time and finished with a jump stop layup. Olivia’s athleticism and fundamental precision make her a top prospect in the 2027 class.

Olivia was clearly the winner in basically every drill she did out there today: defensive slides, stationary ball handling, and live scrimmaging. She has explosive steps, quickness, and creates offense at all three levels. Olivia is an outstanding CG who will make an impact with Holt as a freshman.
