The talent she possess was far ahead then a majority of the players that were in the building this past weekend, and she put on a show in most games. Her game has tremendous pace, but shes explosive and quick. Her shooting ability is top tier and even after some tough blocked shots, she never lost confidence in herself. She plays the game fluid, loose and with her head up. Great potential.

Don’t count Isom out of the 5th Region race as she continues to show her value on the court. She is another player that can score at all 3 levels and can disrupt things defensively.

I love Isom’s overall game and I’m not surprised to see her name all over the state’s leaderboards because of how talented she is. She has strong handles and can bring the ball down the floor, but she’s also extremely effective playing off of the ball. She is currently tied at 23rd for scoring (18.6 PPG) and she’s tied for 33rd in free throw percentage (75%). Isom is a scoring threat at all 3 levels and has an excellent outside shot. She currently ranks 36th in 3-point field goals with her 2.1 per game average. Isom is shooting nearly 40% from deep on the season and continues to show how big of a scoring threat she truly is on top of all of the other things she brings to the floor.

Paityn moved from 41 to 31 in this update and is on her way to a top 25 or higher in the next update. Isom is a pure scorer who doesn’t have any kind of back down in her as she will attack anyone when she has the ball in her hands. She’s a capable defender and a willing passer. Scholarship level schools should be calling early and often.

When I saw Isom play the day was almost over, playing time had been shortened and it was not a good matchup for her team, but she did well. She was handling the ball expertly on the break and she was able to find a few paths into the lane against some excellent perimeter defense. She made an excellent curling drives from the left wing acrss the lane for a right side layup and made a great still be anticipating a pass.

Isom was easily one of the best point guards I saw Saturday. She showed off her strong PG skills while also showing her scoring ability. Her handles were really tough and she was handling pressure like it was nothing. Isom made some excellent passes, including some through traffic. She was making strong drives to the basket, and she made great decisions on when to take it all the way and when to give it up. She was also knocking down shots and making the defense defend her at all 3 levels. Isom brought a lot of intensity on the defensive end as well.

Paityn is a a pure scorer who can pour in buckets with the best of them in the 24 class. Isom is highly skilled and aggressive with the ball in her hands. She’s got a chance to be one of the best players in the 5th region the next two years.
