Converse had a lot of trouble on both ends of the floor gaining and holding position on senior Kapaun post Ella Rudy. But the second half saw her shake free from her and any subs Kapaun tried to use when Rudy was on the bench. Converse put up a dozen of her 18 points in that half on lob catches while on the move, difficult short looks and mid-paint jumpers. Slenderish with long limbs she also hurt Kapaun with her timely rebounding and passing out of the post to her very prolific shooters. In addition to her length and energy Converse ran the floor well.
