will be a major focal point for Franklin Central as they head into the June live period. As a physical and consistent presence in the paint, DuVall’s role becomes even more important when competition tightens and games come quickly. Her ability to control the interior, rebound in traffic, and score through contact gives Franklin Central a reliable foundation on both ends of the floor.
Beyond her production, DuVall’s leadership and presence will be key for her high school team during this stretch. She has continued to draw Division I attention this spring with offers from Loyola, Bradley, Air Force, and others, and June will be another opportunity for college coaches to evaluate her against strong competition while she anchors Franklin Central’s frontcourt.

Payton came into high school with a little fanfare, and she has backed that up, averaging a double-double (11.5 ppg, 10.0 rpg) through 2 1/2 seasons thus far. Defensively, however, she is blocking 3.3 shots per game, and her incredible length, improving strength, and ability to get up & down the floor and change directions allow her to adapt to most situations, causing quite the presence in the paint for opposing players to shoot over/around. I would say of the girls on this list, she probably affects more shots than anyone, whether she gets credited for a block or not. She is busy helping the Flashes to a 9-7 start to the season against a strong schedule, but she’s primed for a big Spring as well.

has established herself as a strong interior presence for Franklin Central, consistently impacting games around the rim with her scoring and rebounding. She averaged a double-double last season with 12.3 points and 10 rebounds per game, anchoring the paint on both ends of the floor. This past AAU season, DuVall showed flashes of expanding her skill set, displaying confidence in facing up and stepping out to score from the perimeter. If that growth continues into the high school season, she will become an even more versatile offensive weapon. Already holding multiple offers, DuVall enters her junior year as a proven frontcourt force with the ability to elevate Franklin Central. With her production and continued development, she will play a critical role in her team’s push for a conference title and another sectional championship.

is quickly becoming one of the best players in Franklin Central history. Since her freshman year, she has built a strong reputation as a dominant presence, especially in the post. Last season, she was the team’s second-leading scorer with 12.3 points per game while also averaging 10 rebounds.
As she continues to develop, Payton is working on adding quickness and expanding her outside game, which will make her an even more versatile threat. What sets her apart is her relentless work ethic and dedication to staying in the gym. Surrounded by a talented supporting cast that includes

From last Summer to this Summer, the amount of growth Payton has shown has been tremendous. She is a couple of inches taller, much stronger, and a lot more physical and confident. She is more assertive around the paint, she is starting to be instinctual with her offensive moves, and she isn’t afraid to mix it up on the boards or defensively. As she continues to develop her game, consistency away from the basket will be key. Knocking down face-up jumpers, plus stepping out to defend the perimeter will separate her.

Payton is another young “big” who just continues to move closer to becoming a monster. A year ago, even just six to eight months, I would have said she used her height and length to play above her peers. What I’ve noticed recently is, she’s starting to use her frame and some physicality to body defenders and finish through contact, even initiating the contact herself. She has a soft touch to about 15-feet, and that goes for her one-handed finishes, like her half-hooks, etc. As she continues to get stronger and she finishes growing, look for her consistency to improve and schools to take notice.
