is one of the more explosive perimeter scorers in the Class of 2029. The Franklin Central shooting guard plays with confidence every time she steps on the floor and has the ability to heat up quickly offensively. Washington is effective at creating her own shot and does a great job attacking gaps when defenders close out too aggressively.
What stands out most about her game is her athleticism and ability to score in multiple ways. She can knock down perimeter shots, finish through contact, and create transition opportunities with her activity defensively. Washington also brings strong energy on both ends of the court and competes with intensity every possession.
As she continues to develop her consistency and overall playmaking ability, she has the tools to become one of the top guards in Indiana’s 2029 class.

Journey is a long, wiry-strong, athletic wing who can at times act as sort of point forward. She’s a nice slashing scorer, but all-in-all, she is a creator of offense. Franklin Central has a loaded and deep 2027 class, and there were several times this past Winter when Journey was the most important player on the floor for the Lady Flashes. Her athletic approach is just a different element for Franklin Central, and she can defend with versatility as well. She could be a fun one to watch develop her game over the next three years.

Journey makes the right plays, and that stood out on Saturday with Indy One EYBL 15U at the Great Lakes Kickoff. She crashed the boards hard, anticipated misses off the rim, and grabbed two offensive rebounds on the same possession. Journey penetrated with her downhill drives and made excellent passes when the defense collapsed. Shedrained a smooth three-point in the slot and fired a lead pass on the money to a sprinting teammate for an assist. Journey threw good touch entry passes into the post for assists and defended well, deflecting passes on the perimeter. She’s a versatile and athletic prospect who has the capacity to excel at multiple positions on the court.

Journey had an impressive day for Team 4 at the Freshman Showcase and earned recognition as a Top Performer. Her length, athleticism, vision, two-way game, and dynamic skills stand out as a guard prospect. Journey buried a corner three and handled the ball confidently with both hands. She showed great awareness on the defensive end, anticipating a euro-step move to block the shot attempt and wasn’t fooled by crossover dribbles. Journey was an explosive downhill scorer. She changed hands with a quick crossover to score a layup and split gaps to score many on the day. Journey used inside-out dribbles to create a driving lane, maintained her balance with wide feet, and scored the two-feet finish with a soft touch off the glass. Journey was an excellent facilitator and decision-maker. She dished a great wrap-around entry pass, threaded the needle with a left handed bounce pass assist in transition, and delivered a dump off to an open teammate on her drive. Journey was an active rebounder, scored put-backs, and split a trap in the back court after swiping the ball.
