About Peyton

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am your traditional point guard who loves to create open shots for my teammates. I can also create shots for myself when/if the play is designated for me or if the play breaks down. I'm an even tempered player who thrives off playing man-to-man defense and causing disruption to my opponent.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

My friends describe me as a natural socialite who loves to keep positive energy. My family describe as being the historian of the house, as I'm in tune with my history and live by the foundations of those who fought for my equality.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am part of SGA and hold the role of Historian.

Peyton will have a big opportunity to get plenty of minutes this season at Indian Creek. She’s been running the point during their fall league play and has shown tremendous improvement with her decision making and ability to control the pace of the game and not get sped up. Her ball handling has been good, and she’s been probing defenses, keeping her dribble alive and looking to set up her teammates. When necessary, she has shown that she can make midrange shots and floaters in the paint. If she plays with the same composure in the winter, she’ll be hard to take off the court.
