I have watched Galbert play a bunch over the years, especially with her club team. I have long known her to have a strong handle, very quick hands and good speed with the ball in transition and off the bounce. With leading scorer Heylei Davis’ graduated she has taken advantage of more opportunities to impact the 6-1 Blue Aces. As the team’s fourth leading scorer at 9.2 points per game she is shooting 31% from three point land and 55% from the floor. She also has a greater than 2-to-1 assists to turnover ratio and picking up just under 2 steals per game. She will factor substantially in East’s bid to return to the 6A state tournament.

Lighting quick guard that pushes the ball baseline to baseline. The shooting guard got hot in one of the games showing that she is deep threat shooter. Moved off the ball against the zone defense finding the gaps waiting for the extra pass for the shot. The range continued to draw the defense court allowing her to attack the poor close out with a paint touch opportunity. Showed good vision in reading the help defender by kicking it out to the spot up shooter on the kick. Good control of the ball using a crossover to get downhill or pocket dribble to change the speed before attacking baseline.
On defense showed quick lateral footwork while pressing the ball allowing no blow byes. Plays with a lot of energy that carried on to her teammates

The quick, fast point guard also has a solid build. She was really good scoring off the catch while on the move. She also made good decisions when given perimeter shot opportunities. Galbert’s hops and build made her competitive on the glass. And while I would like to see more consistency with her balance Galbert is a quick, sit-down defender on the ball and wing.

Quinacy is a shooting guard that can play the 1-2 spot as she has great handles in the full court as well in the half court. Now do not get me wrong this young lady can shoot the 3 from anywhere on the court and get hot in a hurry. I watched her play 2 games this weekend. First game she just went off from the 3 point line knocking down several in a row changing the game. Second game I saw her play point guard with control and patience.
Moves well off the ball always finding the gaps in the defense ready for the kick out to shoot. Impressive was the control she had against pressure when playing the point. Never seemed to get rattled or commit a turnover. Used a very affective through the legs move and a retreat dribble to get out of tough situations. In full court just worked her way through the gaps of the press getting up the court.
Enjoyed watching the way she played. A up tempo guard that shoot lights out but also play in the half court game as well. A 2026 playing up

Quick handed, strong point guard who lived getting downhill and being a disruptor on defense. In the game watched, her finishing around the rim was a bit sporadic. With a combination of good moves like one legged runners over defenders, finishing with both hands. But there were times she got too deep and missed contested looks. Continuing to refine her shot selection is a good next step, especially as she’s a good passer, shifty as a dribbler and impacts winning on the defensive end.
