Quinn Carrier
About Quinn
Expert Analysis
Byron Xerxes Livsey | Prep Girls Hoops Scout
Quinn has been a major piece of the success of this program over the past couple of years, and it’s due to the confidence that she has, which never seems to sway. There’s not a shot, nor a play on that court that she doesn’t believe she can make. The shooting form is fluid, quick, and there’s no hesitation. Can definitely add value to a program.

Quinn shows her best in the open court. She has the speed, and when you match that with her ability to stay aware, it usually ends up as an easy bucket. She never seems to get rattled, especially when finishing at the rim. I still believe she has another level to reach.

Carrier does a good job setting the defender up using a deceptive first step to attack and score, after contact included. She also understands how to create her shot as well as create spacing to get it off, but watching her “catch and shoot” from deep was yet another plus

Though she suited up for MWE at the end of last summers AAU season, this spring and summer we get to see Quinn on the EYBL circuit for an entire season. What Carrier brings to the table is far from only offense, as she is a very solid defender as well. On both sides of the court, she is in 100% go mode. She is forsure a player to have written down in your notebook for the summer.

Carrier just does it all, and having a program that is centered around her skillset makes it even better. Over the first half of the season, she’s put on a show from all aspects of the game—playmaking, board crashing, and scoring. The talent is there, and as she gets faster and stronger, she’ll be a tough player to deal with.

Carrier is showing growth in her game every time I see her. She knows what she does well and consistently plays to her strengths. In 3v3, she put on a scoring clinic, and in full-court play, she demonstrated her effectiveness off the ball as well. Strong potential.

She had a possession in game 1 where she went to baseline to baseline without stumbling or losing the ball and maneuvering through a couple players. The handle is tight, and she shows the ability to play strong or with finesse. Strong potential.

Carrier could be following in her sisters footsteps as one of the main focal points of this program for the rest of her high school career. She can score from all spots on the court, and her ability to make high IQ plays are present as well. A couple big games this year has kept Quinn in the Top 15 conversation.

Quinn’s IQ is up there with some of the best in this class. If the work ethic is consistent.. her skillset will develop and she will be a name that remains in conversations. She has the motor, the unselfishness and plays for a HS program that develops and prepares their kids.
