After moving to the state in November, results were up and down most of the season because she was figuring out how to play with a new team of kids she hadn’t played with, within a group of kids who won a state title the previous year. Klemz is a 6’0 wing who showed flashes of being a solid spot-up shooter, rebounded at a solid level for the Warhawks, and used her length to make some plays on the ball defensively. She has plenty of room to grow these next few years but has the physical tools coaches will like at the next level.

She’s living 2000 miles away from home and is learning to play with a group that had a recipe to win a D1 state title a year ago. However, she’s stepped up when the Warhawks have needed her. She hit massive shots against Catholic Memorial on the road, Waunakee at home, and made some critical shots in a recent comeback win against Muskego. She’ll keep improving as she figures out how to help the Warhawks win games best.
