was to demonstrate that she can dominate inside the lane and then she can work her way, outside to the perimeter. Well to start off 2025 on a positive note, she is averaging nearly a double-double in points and rebounds with 17.5 PPG / 7.5 RPG. Vice’s height is what should separate the Spartans from the Bulldogs in this contest. If they use that natural advantage and play their stout defense per usual, it could be a slippery game for Bettendorf but we will just have to wait and see.

Pleasant Valley High School is looking for revenge after recently winning the 5A State Title two years ago. One of the prospects that was younger at that time, who means quite a lot to this group this Winter is Forward –

. Vice is a 6’3 prospect, that can mix it up from the inside or the outside. The biggest question surrounding Vice and this team in general will be her production in the middle. At 6’3, she is one of the tallest and most coordinated individuals in the state. If she is used that way and her shooting ability comes second, then I think they are going to be very tough to beat on any given night. That’s why I have Vice in this spot and not others necessarily, who I would also usually consider.

of Pleasant Valley High School is going to play a vital role in her team’s success this Winter. Vice is a Drake commit and a taller prospect than most. She stands right around 6’2-6’3 with the ability to spread the floor and knock down jumpers at a high rate. When I saw Vice compete this Spring, my only “knock” on her game was that she wasn’t catching near the post as much as I would have liked. With her natural size, she needs to recognize the mismatches given to her and she needs to to advantage of those. Especially the simple ones that could be right by the bucket. If she can continue to expand her game and work on playing with a little bit more of an edge moving forward, she should have a rememberable Winter this upcoming season, moving into her collegiate career with the Bulldogs.

is a Division-1 prospect, committed to attend Drake University after her high school season comes to an end and I understand why. Vice stands at 6’3 and she basically has height on everyone she competes against. Not to mention, she is a versatile playmaker on both sides of the ball. Vice is the opposite of her sister Halle, who is currently competing at Marquette. Halle was an inside presence, that could step out and bang three’s at an efficient rate. Quinn is the more-so the longer Forward, who loves to shoot three’s and she is very good at that ability. After her defender starts to creep out, she can put the ball on the floor and get all the way to the rack for a bucket. This ability was obvious not just this weekend but it was evident last Winter during the High School season as well. Vice is obviously an impressive talent out of the state of Iowa. My only comment to her would be to become a monster in the paint. She has such an advantage, sometimes it hurts me to watch her because she could score a double-double in points and rebounds next to the basket against ANYONE she faces. If she can become angrier and still possess that shooting ability, she is going to KILL IT at Drake. No doubt in my mind.

is a Drake Bulldogs Womens Basketball commit and a driving force inside the middle of the lane, whenever she takes the floor. Vice is a prospect that has to be respected in the middle on both sides of the basketball and that was proven true in her team contest on Friday night. Vice ended with 17 Points, 4 Rebounds, and 4 Blocks in her team’s victory. She got her hands on a lot of shots with her mixture of long arms and quick reflexes, making an instant impact. This is the first year this group of players out of Iowa has came together to compete so it will be a learning process to start but if Vice continues to have games like this one, they are going to have a good AAU season.

of Pleasant Valley High School. Vice, a 6’3 Forward, has length and natural grit whenever she takes the floor. She is a prospect that plays with an edge, while always keeping her emotions in control, no matter the situation. Vice is coming over from

AAU and I think it’s a great move. She is already committed to compete at Drake after her high school career comes to a close so now we are at the point where she just wants to win while expanding her personal play-style. This is a classic situation where you can’t teach height. Being 6’3/6’34 is going to vital in some of this teams contests this AAU season. If she can stay disciplined and stay down on pump fakes, she is going to EAT on the defensive side of the ball, while producing on offense on a consistent basis. Like I said, this team has a monster in the middle with who they have brought in. If those players have any sort of a connection, other teams are going to be in TROUBLE.

. Vice, a 6’4 Junior, obviously has natural height but she is also skilled with the basketball in her hands. She not only has the ability to take up space in the lane and dominate but she can also stretch the floor and hit shots from behind the three point line. In her teams contest against Dowling Catholic, Vice was making a difference each play. Defensively, if she wasn’t getting a tip or deflection, her length was making the opposing team change their shots on a consistent basis. Vice has a bright future. She still seems very raw when it comes to the skill side of the game but she has demonstrated a lot of promise thus far.

has recently committed to the University of Drake to play after her High School career comes to a close and I can’t wait to see what she can do on a college floor. The glimpses I’ve seen of Vice are impressive. She is a tall player that moves really well down the floor and understands that her discipline on the defensive end, can be a main factor as to why her perspective team wins a majority of the time. Having a player like Vice makes your team better as a whole because she has a complete all around game, that produces on both ends of the floor. It’s going to be fun to watch Vice and her Pleasant Valley High School team try to repeat this winter. They bring back a lot of quality pieces and a great team strategy. Will that be enough? Only time will tell..No matter what though, its going to be a fund season to watch.

is going to step up and take her sisters place this season at Pleasant Valley high school as their center in the middle. I was originally unsure how this would go after seeing the Vice sisters compete last high school season together but this spring/summer for Quinn was noteworthy. Quinn is tall, athletic, and smart. She understands to stay down on the defensive side of things, being a compete game changer for whatever team she is playing for at that moment. When opponents get into the lane, they have to worry about Vice at all times or it will turn into a block party. Offensively she is just as good. She has learned to keep the ball high and dominate the smaller competition that tries to step up to her in the post. I’m not sure what college sport Quinn is going to play, as she is also a promising talent on the volleyball court but if she sticks with basketball, the sky is the limit. She has all the intangibles to be very good at the next level and she displayed that on several occasions this spring/summer.

is a promising prospect out of Pleasant Valley high school. Vice, a 6’2 center, saw the floor a decent amount last season on the way to her high school’s first state championship but this winter, that all changes. Vice is going to have to take over most of the minutes of the center position for her Spartan group in their attempts to run it back as state champs this upcoming winter. A challenge that Vice is more than ready for. Her size, understanding of her teammates, and her skill are the real deal. Over the next two years I expect Vice’s game to evolve into something that will be spoken about state-wide on a regular basis. She just has to stay dedicated and keep working hard.
