Johnson’s final travel season was spent with SC Future – which plenty a Westwood standout has been part of. Prior to the start of this season, Johnson landed an offer from Columbia College. She is a defensive anchor for the 4A Redhawks as two big reasons why she is so valuable to Westwood are seen in the steals she compiles and the rebounds she brings down. Johnson is already averaging nine points and 6.5 rebounds per game – and is a key reason why the Redhawks have started the season in impressive fashion with an 8-2 record. She has also participated in track and field events throughout her athletic career.

Johnson gives an interior edge to a 4A Redhawks team that centers much of what it does around the play of its skilled guards. She can play as either a four or a five and is a double-double threat on a consistent basis. This, of course, comes via her scoring and rebounding. Defensively, Johnson will look to clog up space in the paint and make it difficult for any would be scorer to penetrate to the rim. Her offensive rebounds can turn into two-point putbacks. Senior Night at Westwood HS is sure to fill many an onlooker with memories given the litany of 2023s going through the academic and athletic cycles with the Redhawks one more time.

Allen University loves what they have seen from the Redhawks as evidenced by the school offering both Daniels and Johnson. SC Future loves them to as it is Johnson’s travel squad she runs with during the AAU campaign. She stands at a tall 6-foot-2 and gives a major boost to Westwood’s rebounding efforts. She stays active and energetic on both offense and defense and has mastered the art of getting to the lane in transition. Defensively, she can throw off an opponent’s shot. Johnson runs the floor with a great deal of efficiency along with being a formidable paint presence for Westwood.

As her teammate Daniels did, Johnson also picked up an offer from Allen University. As her teammate Daniels did, she too spent the spring and summer playing her AAU ball with SC Future. Along with being an efficient runner of the floor, she patrols the paint for the Redhawks. Johnson will keep the activity and energy going on both offense and defense and can get in the lane as a transition runner. She stays aggressive at all times and can affect an opponent’s shot as a defender. As someone who plays primarily at either the four or the five, she gives a big boost to her team’s rebounding efforts.

Johnson showed some good flashes and confidence this summer for the SC future 11th Grade Black squad. Raven is long and agile around the floor. She has good length which helps her alter and challenge shots on the defensive end of the floor. Raven is looking to step it up this season for the Redhawks.
