Makitka brought energy, toughness, and veteran leadership too the Pride’s backcourt throughout her senior season. A gritty, high-motor player, she consistently took on the challenge of guarding the opponent’s top perimeter threat while applying relentless defensive pressure. Makitka filled the stat sheet in multiple ways. In the regional championship win over Woodgrove, she added 11 points, 3 rebounds, and 3 steals while helping Heritage in a high-pressure game. Her ball-handling, competitiveness, and willingness to step up in big moments made her a key presence for the Pride.
