It feels Place’s name is on paper every single day. If it is, she deserves it. If she’s hitting shots, this is a state championship team. I’ve been extremely impressed with her feel for the game and her shot selection throughout the playoffs. Place has had a knack for knowing when to get her teammates the ball and when to take it to her opponent and get a bucket.

Place is a very consistent scorer that has proven very comfortable with being relied upon as the go-to scorer. She’s so consistent offensively so whatever defenses run into her in the post season can pretty much count on her getting buckets and doing it well. Place has the ability to carry the team and tough out W’s in the district draw.
