PLAYER OF THE YEAR
Faith Carson Faith Carson 6’4″ | C Buchanan | 2023 State MI ‘s senior year is a perfect example of why players should look more at their long term development and goals. She came in as a powerful post player that could bully opponents. Then she added a mid range game and a a perimeter game, eventually becoming one of the better passing post players in the state. Carson battled through injury in her high school career, but it all led to this senior season. Well this year, she dominated like we knew she could and would. Carson easily averaged a double-double in points and rebounds. Quite frankly, she consistently dominated the paint. Carson will be headed to Ohio State to continue her basketball career and education. Just wait Buckeye fans, you have a special one on the way.
