When the game isn’t “pretty” it comes down to determination/toughness, and leaders step up to make a difference in the outcome. That’s exactly what Rosemary did for the Eagles at the SVSU MLK Classic. She drove hard to the basket to score layups and pivoted to hit a contested floater over an outstretched defender. Rosemary buried a straightaway 3, knocked down two free throws from the charity stripe, and battled to secure rebounds. The highlight play that seemed to turn the tide of the game was when Rosemary chased down a transition layup and climbed the ladder to reject the shot out of bounds. She gave the Eagles 9 points, 6 rebounds, 3 steals, and 3 blocks in a statement win over Heritage.
