We have written extensively about the play of Weed throughout the Triumph Region as All Alabama 15U made appearances at all three events on the southeast’s Circuit schedule. With her ability to connect on her attempts from either the mid range or the long range, Weed will leave many a defense guessing. Add in the fact that she brings a fearless attitude with rim attacking abilities with a willingness to draw contact to get to the free throw line. Giving representation to 4A Madison Academy on the club team, the Mustangs concluded the 2024-25 season with a record of 31-4. 

Royal is the definition of a high-motor, hustle player who never takes a possession off. Her relentless energy and determination make her a constant presence on both ends of the floor—she chases down loose balls, crashes the boards, and never gives up on a play, no matter the situation. That same intensity translates to her offensive game, where she’s a reliable knockdown shooter who can stretch the floor and deliver in key moments. Royal’s combination of grit and skill makes her the kind of player every team needs—dependable, fearless, and always ready to make a winning play.

We remember what this queen of the court got accomplished for her All Alabama 15U team at the beginning of April in her home state at the Roll Tide Rumble. Weed continued her superb play at this year’s annual Peach Games as she scored nine points en route to victory over FBC Dynasty 15U. An attribute of her game that first drew our attention is how she can attack the basket and is willing to fall to the floor if it means completing a play. She is also more than willing to draw contact and get to the free throw line. As a guard, Weed also places particular emphasis on taking care of the ball to limit turnovers. 

Royal Weed Royal Weed 5'3" | SG/PG Sparkman | 2028 State AL lived up to her reputation as a pure playmaker throughout the Peach Game circuit. Her court vision and passing accuracy were on full display as she consistently dropped dimes to open teammates. A particularly effective weapon in her arsenal was her ability to execute the pick-and-roll, hitting the rolling center with precise passes that often led to easy baskets. Royal’s knack for creating scoring opportunities for others made her a central figure in her team’s offensive success, constantly keeping the defense on its heels and setting up her teammates for high-percentage shots

This young 5-foot-3 standout is actually one of a few on the All Alabama 15U roster that does not hail from Mae Jemison. In lieu of the Jaguars, Weed represents the Mustangs of 4A Madison Academy. The 2024-25 version of Madison Academy finished with a robust 31-4 record. Weed may be 5-foot-3 but she has a talent for converting on tough shots. She is also unafraid of contact and is willing to take her chances at the free throw line. While she can play the more traditional style of point guard position, she will also give a team productive minutes as a two guard.
