She is leading her team in scoring (21.2) and in rebounds (8.5) 4 games into the season. Sadie has good positional size and is extremely skilled. She does most of her damage in the paint, but can also be a scoring threat from the perimeter. Sadie is an impressive ball handler and a really good rebounder and passer in her own right. She holds an offer from the University of Pikeville.

Sadie Johnson Sadie Johnson 6'0" | C/PF Letcher County Central | 2027 State KY was the 2nd leading scorer (11.8 PPG) and rebounder (6.3 RPG) for a Shelby Valley squad that went 19-12 last season. Sadie has really good size and the skill to go along with it. She shows the ability to operate from the low and high post with exceptional footwork. Sadie can also handle the ball, shoot it well from the perimeter, and is very active on the glass. She is going to make some noise in the 15th region this season.

Outlook: Johnson really isn’t a combo guard, but since she was put in this position group, I still want to make sure to include her in this article. She actually plays down low where she can play the forward or center positions effectively. Her skillset in the post is pretty advanced, especially on the offensive end of the floor. She has excellent post moves and great touch. She can power through defenders, or she can elevate over them. She is a strong rebounder and has great shot blocking skills. Johnson is the kind of player who can get a double-double in any given game and will likely average that at some point in her career, maybe even this season.
