Wood Elite teams overall had impressive showings this past weekend at Peach Games and the 2026 squad was no exception. Wood Elite 2026 was one of only two teams in the entire 15U classification to go 4-0 for the tournament. Smiley was a huge reason for the team’s success. Smiley finished with 12 points in a matchup with Team Nite Nite 2026 which put a bow on Saturday’s play. Eight of the 12 points she scored were placed on the scoreboard in the first half. Smiley primarily plays as a three and has no issues absorbing contact as it will give her valuable chances at the free throw line.

Following a 2-0 Wood Elite 2026 day on the second day of Peach Games, many of its fans had smiles on their faces. With a 12-point performance over Team Nite Nite 2026 to conclude Saturday’s play, the 2026 team would go into Sunday unblemished. Smiley managed to score early and often in the matchup against their fellow Peach State foes as she had eight of her 12 in the first half. Her ability to draw contact and get to the free throw line accounted for her first pair of points. Smiley is listed at 5-foot-8 and primarily plays at the three as a small forward.

Smiley has great size to play both inside and on the perimeter. A high IQ and high motor player that gives you a threat from anywhere on the court. Knows how to get to the rim but can also pull up for the short jumper . She has a quick release and can give her team a bucket at any given moment. A player that uses her length to her advantage as she makes it tough to score over her. A player that gets better every time she touches the floor. A watchlist player.
