Samantha was hands down the most versatile two-way player in the gym as she quickly caught my and Dickinson College’s eye.

Her speed of the rebound was unmatched. Multiple possessions she was able to secure the defensive rebound and like a cannon, shot through the gap to start the break. Slicing through transition defensive with the ball in her left hand she was able to get to the paint and most times kick it out, as she played under control.

Defensively, her hands were always active in the passing lanes as her long wingspan allowed her to tip multiple passes.

White’s length and athleticism stood out in transition, as she flew past defenders for a fast-break finish and used her reach to extend around the basket. She also had a tough one-handed finish on the left side while bringing plenty of activity defensively through communication, traps, and aggressive play. She brought energy to the court and also displayed strong sportsmanship by helping players up regardless of which team they were on.

White is smooth with the ball, and she showcases that with her takes to the basket as the ball rolls off her fingertips. She scores well in transition, whether she’s handling it herself or running ahead to receive a pass. She is also a facilitator with great floor vision and passing skills.

White brought toughness and physicality on both ends of the floor throughout the event. Offensively, she used smart footwork and strong sweep moves to create space before aggressively attacking gaps and drawing fouls to earn trips to the free throw line. White also made her presence felt defensively with active hands, shot denials, and blocks that disrupted opponents throughout the game.

White remains one of the most versatile players in the state thanks to her rare ability to impact every facet of the game. The 5-foot-10 forward scores efficiently inside, rebounds at a high level, defends multiple positions, and creates constant matchup problems with her athleticism and skill set. Her production, two-way impact, and ability to elevate her game in key moments continue to separate her from many of her peers.

She is a walking double-double and an elite player on both ends of the court. She is a great athlete with nice size and guard skills. She gets to the rim consistently and does a great job on the glass. Sami is a really versatile defender, and I think she has the ability to guard all 5 positions at this level. She is a wing/big hybrid and has had an amazing first two years to start her high school career.

White is emerging as one of the most promising young players in the state. With her length and athleticism, she creates mismatches and impacts both ends of the floor. White attacks with confidence, understanding angles and timing while consistently putting pressure on defenses. Defensively, she is disruptive and instinctive, often forcing turnovers with her activity. Her rapid development and production signal a high ceiling moving forward.

White has quickly established herself as one of the region’s most promising young prospects. At 5’10”, she combines length and physicality with guard-like skill, allowing her to score inside while defending multiple positions. Her 500-point milestone speaks to both production and consistency at a young age. She plays with confidence beyond her class year and thrives in key moments.

Competed at a high level all weekend! She was matched up with some of the top players in the state and did very well. Showed a lot of guard skills with great drives to the baskets from the wing!
