Griffin has the speed to trap the guard on the perimeter, and the length to poke the ball away on the entry pass in the paint. She contests and blocks shots at the rim. She pushes the pace after a defensive rebound and keeps the ball high for the putback on an offensive one. She makes the right read for the extra pass in transition and the halfcourt set. Griffin put in strong reps against top competition with Oregon Elite over the spring and summer. She returns to West Salem this year with new coach Justin Duke at the helm. Griffin was named to the 6A Central Valley Conference Second Team her junior season.
