Cortez has steadily improved each season to become a legitimate force inside the paint. Not only does she stand above “the magic number” her college-ready frame is doing some damage on both ends of the court. She’s moving more fluidly on defense, especially with her lateral movement. Hands and footwork to score is a big yes, but her “court vision” is also a major plus
