Sara has taken another major step forward this spring and summer by using her unique combination of size, skill, and international playing experience to climb the Class of 2028 rankings. Her strong play has already been rewarded with offers from UCF, UT Martin, and Liberty, and her recruitment continues to trend upward. Sara possesses an outstanding frame and exceptional length, allowing her to control the glass on both ends of the floor. Offensively, she is a polished playmaker who consistently makes the right read, whether it’s using a hesitation move to create an advantage or finding the open teammate with a timely pass. She is especially difficult to contain when attacking downhill, using her strength, length, and body control to create space and finish through contact with a variety of creative finishes around the rim.

Sara Martins is a versatile two-way wing who impacts the game across multiple areas. She’s a true three-level scorer who can stretch the floor or attack and finish strong around the basket. Martins uses her strength and body control to convert through contact. Defensively, she stands out with the ability to guard positions 1 through 4, and even some 5s. Her combination of size, quickness, and effort makes her a highly versatile defender. Martins also rebounds well, adding extra value on both ends of the floor.

Sara Martins stood out as a talented and intriguing prospect with good size and constant activity. While not the primary scorer on the night we saw her play, her skill set was evident — she was capable of attacking the rim and knocking down shots from the perimeter. Martin wasn’t hesitant to mix it up. She rebounded well, and showed a smooth and confident jumper. Her versatility allowed her to contribute in multiple phases of the game.

Sara brings a big, strong frame and is a tough, physical finisher around the basket. She thrives attacking the rim with a combination of speed and strength which makes her difficult to keep out of the paint. Her ability to stretch the floor with her shot adds another dimension to her offensive game. High effort and energy show up consistently, paired with good athleticism on both ends of the floor. International playing experience is evident in her feel for the game as she passes the ball well, knows where her teammates are at all times, and moves effectively without the ball.
