The forward averaged 11.7 PPG on 48% shooting, along with 7.7 RPG, and recorded five double-doubles last season. Expect Cali to continue expanding her game and skill set as she competes at the national level this year.

Cali was not at practice for legitimate reasons, but she is already a well known player in the state and someone I’ve seen plenty of times. She’s one of the top players in the area and the state that will bring some serious length, size, and rebounding to this squad. Her ability to stretch the floor and impact both sides of the court will be huge for ZCA.

Cali is a top post player in this class that really put that on display this weekend against some of the best in her class. I’ve seen her stretch the defense and play on the arc, so it was good to see she’s continued to work on her footwork in the paint. She showed a really good touch at the basket and finished strong over and through defenders. Her hands were also impressive as she made some tough catches which is a huge positive for a player with her height/length.

Cali had a nice weekend as a stretch post who knocked down quite a few 3’s and mid-range shots. She had some big blocks and used her length to snag rebounds at a solid level. Her mobility and desire to run the floor will make her highly recruitable for the next level.

Cali is the top post prospect in Florida’s 2028 class which is loaded with solid guard play. This year, her second season playing varsity, she put up 11.7 ppg, 7.7 rpg, and 2.1 bpg at NTCA. Her mobility, footwork, and length as a post player will get her a lot of attention and looks this summer with MBJ Elite on the 3SSB circuit. The upside with Cali is massive, so she’s an easy pick to stay in the Top 10 if she continues to work.

As I approached her court, she was sinking a contested corner three, and it was clear everyone knew it was going in. Her instincts stood out, especially when she grabbed rebounds and immediately looked up the floor to push the ball quickly—an impressive skill that many players her age lack.
