had a awesome shooting night, 30 points against Pleasant Grove in the last game of the event at the BallN Prep MLK Classic. Her total points included six 3’s. She can shoot from anywhere on the court, can shoot coming off of screens and can make mid-range shots too. Sarah can also be a pest on defense, making her opponents work for their offense. She has scored over 1,600 points in her Mortimer Jordan career. This is senior guard that a coach needs to be trying to bring to their campus this fall

is another outstanding player from the 205. Sarah is such a phenomenal player for Mortimer Jordan High School. I got to watch Sarah play, and it was amazing to see how poised she was on the court. Sarah is a vocal leader as well as a leader who shows action during the game. Sarah is a terrific shooter with a range from the field goal all the way beyond the three-point arch. This young lady is also a phenomenal defensive player who hustles very hard to get back on defense and attempts to make a turnover for the opposing team. Opposing team coaches regard Sarah as the number one scorer because, if the focus is taken away from her, she is capable of making huge plays that can change the game in the long run. Sarah is a young lady who reminds me of a collegiate athlete who has every skill set to be able to lead a team to victory.?s=20&t=e2ZhDDN0N43dCve0jq0D-g

Kanaday had the best shooting performance at the tournament. By the time she made her third one you could hear the anticipation of it going in from the crowd. Her quick release forced Sparkman players to abandon everything else when she got a touch. She was the most consistent offensive threat for Mortimer-Jordan and finished with 21 points including six made three-pointers.
