Lake Braddock got off to a tough start to the year. They played some outstanding teams early, and even with that being said, they would have liked to make those games a little more competitive. Sarah had a solid game against West Springfield on Tuesday with 10 points and game-winning Free throws, but she really flexed her muscles on Friday against Woodson. She scored 23 of her team’s 46 points and finished with 11 rebounds and 4 assists. She showed her versatility by doing good work in the paint and stepping out and knocking down a few threes. She was outstanding defensively and impressed me all week.

She shoots the ball well and is an active defender and a tremendous rebounder. She’s listed as only 5’10, but she plays bigger than that. She can put the ball on the floor and get to the rim when defenders run her off the three-point line, and she had some huge performances this year. She was the first team all region and will get some more offers this summer.
