Savannah is a kid who I like to call a “substance” ballplayer. She is a solid on-the-floor athlete, she has some strength to her, and she’s fairly physical for a guard. What’s most impressive about her, however, is she has a keen understanding of the game, a solid feel with the ball in her hands, plus she can play multiple roles. She has a solid handle and can act as a game manager as a point guard. She’s a solid downhill attacker and can absorb contact. She’s also a very good perimeter shooter who can get on hot streaks. She has played well so far in her first year for the Lady Raiders.

Savannah is likely as excited as anyone about the 2022-2023 season after sitting out last Winter due to transfer restrictions. She is a strong, fairly physical, and tough-nosed guard. She has a nice handle, sees the floor very well, and runs offense efficiently, plus she can manage situational basketball for her team. She’s also a capable perimeter shooter who can get on hot streaks at times. I like her motor and grit, and she will battle defensively. I’d like to see her be just a little better defending the ball, but she does get after it.
