She also plays smart passing out of the post to find her open shooters.

Currently averaging 3.4 PPG and 4.4 rebounds per game as the only freshman on her varsity roster, these skills provide a strong foundation for her growth. With continued development, playing time, and refinement of her offensive and defensive instincts, she has the tools to steadily rise in stock and become a dependable, high-impact player in her class.

Serena looks like a freshman to watch in the Tampa Bay area for Steinbrenner. She brings good size and a strong frame in the post, pairing it with soft hands and solid touch—highlighted by a clean catch and finish off the pick-and-roll. Defensively, she showed the ability to block shots and rebound her area by consistently using fundamental box-outs to secure the ball. She also flashed good feel as a passer from the post by making the right reads and showing maturity in not rushing an outlet pass after a board.
