Lyric plays with an attacking mentality and is at her best when she gets downhill or out in transition where her speed becomes a major weapon. She consistently put pressure on the defense by finishing through contact for multiple and-one opportunities, including a tough left-handed finish and a crafty scoop finish at the rim. She also showed the ability to finish with either hand which made her difficult to defend once she got into the next layer of defenders. Beyond her scoring, Lyric attacked the offensive glass for extra possessions, used her body well to create space around the basket, and competed on the defensive end throughout the game. She’s an athlete to monitor as her game continues to progress.

She flashed the ability to get to the rim in a hurry and create scoring opportunities, while also applying steady defensive pressure throughout the contest. What stood out most was her motor and competitive spirit. Regardless of the score, Starks continued to battle, doing everything she could to keep her team in the game. She attacked aggressively and earned multiple trips to the free-throw line. Her no-quit approach to the game left a lasting impression

Lyric was very effective when getting downhill towards the rim. She was able to collapse the defense for better looks for her teammates or even draw fouls against the other team for easy points at the free throw line. Her effort on defense and speed allowed her to get in passing lanes and disrupt any offensive flow.
