Wright has provided the right stuff for Camden since her eighth-grade year when she first began playing at the varsity level for the Bulldogs. This past season, Camden was once again one of the premier 4A teams in the state and the six points, 4.9 rebounds, 2.6 steals and two assists per contest were part of the winning formula for coach Lewis Mungo’s Bulldogs. Wright was a key factor in Camden’s 23-4 record and the Bulldogs earning a berth in the 4A Upper State championship game. When the 2026-27 season tips off, Wright and her Camden assembling will return to the 3A ranks.

The Bulldogs of 4A Camden were victorious in 17 games last season and have already eclipsed that win total with five games remaining on the regular season schedule. Region play commenced on Jan. 5 against Dreher. The Bulldogs won in a rout over the Blue Devils by a final score of 76-28 and Wright reached the 500-rebound mark for her career. Wright contributed to a dominant performance with 13 points and eight rebounds. She is one of six juniors on this year’s Bulldogs team. Wright has averaged 5.9 points, 5.6 rebounds and 2.3 steals per matchup. Camden, coached by Lewis Mungo, was ranked fourth in the most recent 4A coaches’ poll.

, is a rising freshman. She displayed veteran instincts in the Bulldogs’ emphatic win over 1A Carvers Bay as she scored 12 points in a winning Camden effort. Wright displays plenty of the right stuff as a scorer and also as a rebounder. She gets herself in position to convert on high-percentage baskets and also has no issues absorbing contact that can place her at the free throw line. Wright has experience with Camden going back to when she was a seventh grader.
