Player Bio

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

As a point guard, I have learned over the years how to handle pressure and handle the basketball. Since I have been on the shorter side my whole career I have learned to use my strengths to help my team in games such as fast ball movement, seeing open players, and creating open shots for myself and using my shooting skills.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

On and off the court I am a positive leader through the whole team. I carry high energy and bring up my team in good games and not so good games. In my mind, you are the player you practice to be. One of my coaches once told me, practice makes permanent, not perfect. I also believe that if you wanna be the best, you have to play the best teams to become a better team.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

At school, I am involved in my high school choir where I have became a choir officer where I help plan things with my teachers and keep track of what is going on in the choir. I also have been asked to be apart of a business team at school too, a friend and I are the only freshman that have ever been asked to be on the team.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

On my high school freshman basketball team I was honored to have the roll of being one of the captains. Given this role it gave me the opportunity to become a better player, teammate, and leader for my teammates. Towards the end of my season, I was asked to play with JV as well. This taught me that hard work pays off and that I could become a better player at the next level.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a 4- year college and want to earn a bachelors degree. For basketball I want to play for a program who will see my strengths and my weaknesses to help me get better as a player, teammate, and leader.
