Siona enters the upcoming season as LaPorte’s top returning scorer and will be an important piece for the Slicers. After averaging 8.7 points per game last season, she will be looked upon to take another step forward offensively.

Siona finished second on the team in scoring last year and has shown the ability to use her size effectively to score the basketball. Her size gives her an advantage around the basket, allowing her to create scoring opportunities and be a difficult matchup for opposing defenses.

With an increased role expected this season, Siona has an opportunity to build on her production and become one of LaPorte’s key offensive players.

Siona is a very strong wing prospect who can do so many things on the floor. First, she plays with a tremendous motor and is constantly moving. She likes physicality, and she applies it defensively, when rebounding, and on attack at the offensive end of the floor. She can handle it and initiate the offense like a point forward, she has some touch around the perimeter, plus she is almost automatic in the mid-post. I feel like she has a lot of intangible qualities to be able to help successful small college programs.

Siona is a really nice high school basketball player, because she helps you win in so many different ways. First, she is very strong and can play with a lot of physicality, whether that’s attacking the basket, defending, or boxing out on rebounds. She’s also a solid all-around athlete, especially North/South. She works extremely hard, and she comes up with a lot of “hustle” plays, especially inside the paint. She is great in the mid-post, comfortable around the perimeter, and just a quietly tough, skilled kid who plays with a motor.
