Hillary has done an outstanding job of developing her skillset over the years. She plays a lot on the wing during grassroots season, she is a capable shooter, and she can get downhill and attack the basket or post smaller defenders. At her high school, she will also bring the ball up the floor more times than not, she can initiate the offense, but she can also create offense for herself and teammates. She has worked hard on her strength as well, and she does a nice job of “bullying” smaller perimeter players at different spots on the floor. She should have another excellent season in 2026-2027.

Her off-ball movement and willingness to do the little things help her stay impactful even when she is not scoring. That level of discipline helps stabilize her team’s offensive flow. There are two sides to Hillary, one with her grassroots team(s), then another with her high school team. With her grassroots team(s), she shows the ability to make shots from the perimeter and to act primarily as a wing scorer. But this weekend, it was good to see her with the Blackhawks, because she does a great job of using her physicality. She’ll body smaller defenders and play through contact off the bounce. She’ll also go to the block and post hard off of cuts. Seeing such a physical side to her, especially offensively, means she’s working hard on her total offensive game, which is needed for the next level.

Hillary is going to be one of those players who is talked about consistently all four years of high school. Why? She is a “big school” prospect in a “small school” setting, so during the Winter months she puts up tremendous numbers. At the same time, she is one of the top prospects in the class, so she is able to stand out in events like these when she’s mixed with other talented individuals. She can handle and run offense, she can bury shot after shot, and she can create offense. She’s also a heady, savvy defender who is willing to go rebound, but she also defends multiple positions.

One thing I noticed about Hillary is she always seems to be around the ball. I love this kids demeanor on the court. Shoot well off the dribble. Complete physical and stays active.

Hillary has established herself as a rising talent in Northwest Indiana. As a freshman, she averaged 20.9 points per game and continued to impress this past AAU season with the talented Always 100 15U 3SSB team, which finished with just four losses. Hillary has shown the ability to play as a point forward, using her length and versatility to impact the game on both ends of the floor. She can score at all three levels and is drawing attention from multiple Division I mid-major programs, with offers expected in the near future.
