is looking to build on another strong season, continuing to be a steady contributor on the offensive end. She provides consistency within her role and finds ways to stay productive throughout the game. Her ability to perform within the system and contribute offensively makes her a reliable piece for her team heading into the season.
She also brings value through her effort and understanding of team concepts, rarely forcing actions and instead playing within what the game gives her. Her off-ball movement and willingness to do the little things help her stay impactful even when she is not scoring. That level of discipline helps stabilize her team’s offensive flow. As she continues to grow, her consistency and reliability will remain key strengths.
There are two sides to Hillary, one with her grassroots team(s), then another with her high school team. With her grassroots team(s), she shows the ability to make shots from the perimeter and to act primarily as a wing scorer. But this weekend, it was good to see her with the Blackhawks, because she does a great job of using her physicality. She’ll body smaller defenders and play through contact off the bounce. She’ll also go to the block and post hard off of cuts. Seeing such a physical side to her, especially offensively, means she’s working hard on her total offensive game, which is needed for the next level.

continues to emerge as one of the best players in Northern Indiana regardless of class. Her versatility and all-around game allow her to impact nearly every aspect of the floor, making her a major addition to Westville’s program.
Labis can score from multiple levels, rebound effectively, and create matchup problems because of her combination of size and skill. She plays with a strong basketball IQ and consistently makes smart decisions offensively. Whether attacking the basket, knocking down perimeter shots, or making plays for teammates, Labis finds ways to contribute at a high level.
Defensively, she competes hard and uses her length and instincts effectively. Her complete game and ability to consistently impact winning basketball make her one of the top young names to monitor in Indiana’s 2028 class.
Hillary is going to be one of those players who is talked about consistently all four years of high school. Why? She is a “big school” prospect in a “small school” setting, so during the Winter months she puts up tremendous numbers. At the same time, she is one of the top prospects in the class, so she is able to stand out in events like these when she’s mixed with other talented individuals. She can handle and run offense, she can bury shot after shot, and she can create offense. She’s also a heady, savvy defender who is willing to go rebound, but she also defends multiple positions.
One thing I noticed about Hillary is she always seems to be around the ball. I love this kids demeanor on the court. Shoot well off the dribble. Complete physical and stays active.
Hillary has established herself as a rising talent in Northwest Indiana. As a freshman, she averaged 20.9 points per game and continued to impress this past AAU season with the talented Always 100
15U 3SSB team, which finished with just four losses. Hillary has shown the ability to play as a point forward, using her length and versatility to impact the game on both ends of the floor. She can score at all three levels and is drawing attention from multiple Division I mid-major programs, with offers expected in the near future.
In her debut season, Hillary helped the Blackhawks go from an 8-11 record, to a 21-3 record. She is well-rounded, with significant contributions both offensively and defensively. She is a long, athletic guard who has a quick shot from outside. She finished the season second in 1A in points per game, averaging 20. Hillary also averaged 2.4 assists, 8.6 rebounds, 2.6 steals, and 1.8 blocks per game. She is definitely a player to watch as she continues to develop over the next few years.
