Sofia gave Team 3 a spark at the PGH Freshman Showcase with her outside shot and looked like a guard ready to make an impact at the high school level. She’s a threat to shoot from anywhere beyond the arc and shot the ball confidently throughout the day. Sofia’s sharp ball-handling made an impression during 3v3, and she drove hard to the basket for a strong and-one finish with her left. She facilitated well and buried a wing three in the 5v5 games. Sofia scored a fast-break bucket, catching the pass in stride for the full-speed finish, and made a smart extra pass for an assist after the defender committed to her dribble.
