Aries is the lead guard for a young and hungry East Kentwood team that’s been turning heads this season. She explodes downhill to the rim off the dribble and harasses opposing ball-handlers on the perimeter. Aries secured her place in the top 70 by delivering a noteworthy performance on both ends of the court against very talented college-level guards. Her rebounding, defense, facilitation, and toughness truly set her apart.

A scrappy point guard who plays with endless energy, toughness, quickness, and constant effort for 32 minutes on both ends is the type of prospect college coaches want in their program. Aries demonstrated all of those qualities for East Kentwood at the West Michigan Hoop Summit. She applied tremendous pressure on defense, was physical, and cut off the ball with her fast lateral movement. Aries used a hard dribble, spun, changed hands, and finished with a soft left-handed layup off the glass. She accelerated down the lane with a burst and banked a soft left-handed floater off the glass in traffic. Aries closed out fast to block a shot and sprinted from behind for another swat. She pursued rebounds with determination, handled the ball confidently with both hands, distributed the rock to open teammates, and played through pain. Aries scored nine points, grabbed 10 rebounds, dished out four assists, and blocked two shots for the Falcons.

Ari’es is set for a breakout junior season at East Kentwood after earning all-conference honorable mention as a sophomore. An explosive point guard, she uses her speed, athleticism, and leaping ability to create constant opportunities in transition and around the rim. Ari’es reads the floor exceptionally well, making smart, quick decisions to set up teammates, and her smooth ball-handling allows her to navigate defenses with ease. Her combination of quickness, court awareness, and scoring ability makes her a dynamic threat on both ends of the court.

Great player, amazing athlete. Her speed and jumping abilities make her a threat on both ends of the court. She plays bigger than what she is a caught my attention instantly when I watched her. She makes creating for others around her look so easy because of her speed and quick decision making skills. She is smooth when she has the ball and her eyes are always up, finding whoever is open.
