Sophie was really good at getting downhill and making a play as both a finisher and passer. Sophie was really good rebounding, and her POA defense was outstanding. Sophie had the game-winning stop guarding Aliza Murray Aliza Murray 5'5" | CG Centreville | 2026 State VA , where she was able to get her hands on her crossover and force a held ball.

Sophie Toole Sophie Toole 5'6" | CG Oakton | 2026 State VA had a couple of turnovers late, but she still had a nice showing for Oakton in this pivotal conference win over Chantilly. Her driving ability and facilitation were great, especially in the first half. She iced this game with 4 straight free throws late as well.

Sophie’s late-game ball handling and defense were huge factors. Sophie did a fantastic job driving the ball, and she had some nice finishes. Sophie left some points at the line, but she finished with 13. 

I was excited to see Oakton play South County on Thursday, as both of these teams have looked fantastic early. Oakton controlled most of this game, especially the second half, and a lot of that has to go to their backcourt. Sophie knocked down a few threes, one of which was a 4-point play early in the second half. Sophie got to the line and was good on defense. Sophie is skilled, strong, and athletic. She finished with 21 points.
