Stephanie Mobley Stephanie Mobley 5'5" | PG North Mecklenburg | 2026 State NC was ready from the jump tucking the ball in and scoring as she attacked the paint.  She sees the floor so well threading the needle with her passes finding open teammates up the court.  She strips the ball away from her opponents and does what it takes to get the possession back for her team.  She hit a deep shot showing her range when it comes to scoring.

Mobley was another key element to North Meck’s offensive onslaught. She would finish her evening at the Wake Forest office having added eight points to the Vikings’ total. She also helped out on the boards as she grabbed five rebounds in addition to sending out two assists in the 29 minutes she was on the court. Not only is Mobley one of the two team co-captains, but she was one of the three seniors sporting North Meck’s signature blue and red colors one final time. Among those eight points, six were scored in the second half of play. Mobley also had the lone 3-pointer that the Vikings made on Saturday night. 

Stephanie Mobley Stephanie Mobley 5'5" | PG North Mecklenburg | 2026 State NC hit a handful of nice shots from deep.  She followed her own shots with a nice steal on defense and scoring two on solo fast breaks off the turnovers.  She hustles back on defense blocking shots in transition making sure her opponents don’t have any easy buckets.  Her ball handling controls the tempo for her team setting up plays or pushing the pace.

Stephanie is a true point guard that plays selfless. She is always trying to get her teammates involved and always plays with a lot of heart and fire on the court. One of her biggest strengths is how hard she plays on the defensive end. She always competes and seems to outwork her opponents. Mobley also demonstrates that she has leadership skills.

Integrity on both sides of the ball. Very committed and focused on the assignment at hand and executing the play. Nice pop on her 3 ball. Vocal and communicative on defense; crisp rotations and solid help side.

Stephanie Mobley Stephanie Mobley 5'5" | PG North Mecklenburg | 2026 State NC is always talking on the court making sure she is directing her teammates where to go as she handles the ball.  I’ve loved watching her defense over the years as she is always aggressive picking the pocket of her opponents, and her offense continues to grow.  Her ball handling and ability to facilitate plays is always an asset as she controls the tempo for whatever team she is playing with.

Stephanie Mobley Stephanie Mobley 5'5" | PG North Mecklenburg | 2026 State NC showed off her range shooting the ball.  She turned right around stripping the ball from her opponents and taking it all the way to the other end.  She was playing hard and showing off her scoring ability even having her coach run plays specifically to get the ball in her hands for the shot.  She is an absolute terror on defense going after every loose ball trying to gain possession even if it means diving on the floor giving it all she’s got.  

Stephanie Mobley Stephanie Mobley 5'5" | PG North Mecklenburg | 2026 State NC plays tough defense being quick laterally to prevent her opponents from getting by her.  She controls the tempo for her team making the pass up the court finding her open teammates for some fast break points, and she slows things down setting up half court sets when appropriate.

Stephanie Mobley Stephanie Mobley 5'5" | PG North Mecklenburg | 2026 State NC is a player who just seems to thrive on defense.  She’s always ready to meet her opponent at half court to guard the main ball handler preventing them from getting any kind of offensive play going.  She’s always talking on both ends of the court directing her teammates and letting them know how she can help.  She’s aggressive on offense, too, being able to attack the basket.

I’ve been able to see Stephanie Mobley Stephanie Mobley 5'5" | PG North Mecklenburg | 2026 State NC a handful of times now including Friday night at Phenom’s Ish Smith Showcase.  She was doing it all for her team getting inside for some rebounds, making quick passes across the court and in transition, and getting open for her shot.  She had some nice plays on her own in transition using her jump stops to pull up hitting a nice midrange shot.
