Grigsby is really impressive handling the ball at 6’1, showing comfort and control that stands out for her size. Her raw athleticism fuels a high motor, allowing her to make her presence felt on both ends. She pairs good timing with her length, which makes her a tough rebounder to keep off the glass and consistently around the ball.

Grigsby sold me a couple of years ago, before she played her first high school game, yet seeing her “on the court” progression and this season’s “Queen Of The South” JUST DID IT for me. Her long-range game continues to give her options because she can attack and finish from the wing as well as drop the midrange, but rebounding and defense were also key

#5 up from #25 Grisby, like many others, plays on a platform where I rarely see many of the players, so catching her at the Queen Of The South left me speechless. Yeah, I knew she was good when I caught a glimpse of her, but when you factor in that she stands above “the magic number” and has a college-ready frame, what else does she need? Well, she’s overpowers defenders in the paint, she goes AFTA everything off the rim, and just see evaluations here

Grigsby gave me my first good look after seeing her pass the eye test during my “two minute warning” over a year ago. She is long and athletic, which is the base, and now above the magic number but her “ceiling has no roof” as she over powers defenders to score off the dribble and around the basket, outback’s included, yes, she rebounds on both ends. Her mid to long-range was clicking, as was her defense

#16 Grisby caught my attention at The Prime Event earlier in the season and I was so impressed that in one of those rare occurrences, I had to find out what her name was since I didn’t have a roster see evaluation here Her being “long and athletic” and playing up against players heading to the next level was one of the reasons I did it yet I was astounded at how young she was. She’ll probably wind up in the Top 10 once I catch up with her

Grigsby was one of those surprise players I caught while watching another team and fortunately a parent told me she was only in the 8th grade. Her name was spelled incorrectly at first yet I got her game right as she brought so much energy on both ends that helped to change the momentum several times. Yeah, she goes after loose balls, on the floor and in the air but she handles the ball after the steal and went the length of the court to score or dish. She also scored off the dribble, nice body control after contact helped her finish plus she dropped the short jumper

Grigsby may not be the correct name for the Texas U up and coming player but let me say this, she’s “long and athletic” which is and always will be the base and her upside is, how can I say this, scary. She has the “hands and footwork” around the basket down, she appears to be around “the magic number” which is 6’0 yet the magic doesn’t stop there as her timing to block shots had me smiling. She ca score off the dribble, she can drop the midrange but her TOUCHDOWNS the length of the court SCORED
