I knew Greenland would be a team to watch this season, especially after adding Taige Norwood Taige Norwood 5'11" | PG/SG Greenland | 2028 State AR , who has moved up 6 spots in the rankings, and she may be on the move again.

The Lady Pirates have been defeating teams that they would have no business beating in previous seasons. Against 6A Springdale, the 3A-1 Greenland squad got the 18-point win, with Norwood logging 24 points. In a recent contest against Providence Academy, Norwood struck again, putting up 17 points.

So far this season, Norwood has clearly been killing it offensively. She is driving hard to the paint and scoring with ease, even through contact. She has shown off a variety of moves when heading downhill, including euros, step-throughs, and spins. If she takes a few steps back to the 3-point line, too bad defenders, as she can knock down open jumpers without much effort.
